Magnesium citrate is highly absorbable. I was prescribed it for issues related to estrogen dominance, including mastopathy, PCOS, and premenstrual syndrome. This crucial nutrient supports the nervous and cardiovascular systems and aids calcium absorption. I take two tablets daily (400 mg), increasing to 600 mg in the latter half of my cycle, along with additional vitamin B6 for better magnesium absorption. I’m pleased with the results—I've felt calmer, my sleep has improved, and breast soreness has decreased!

I bought this to alleviate my PMS. After a month, I've noticed it has generally helped, although it has increased my appetite a bit—perhaps that's just individual to me.

Reduced irritability
I started taking magnesium as advised by my doctor to ease PMS. I took it for three months during specific days of my cycle. It made a significant difference, reducing my irritability and cravings for sweets. I plan to continue this in cycles, and its cost is reasonable compared to pharmacy options.

Calms and relieves
Magnesium citrate has a calming effect and aids with sleep disorders and nervousness. It effectively relieves premenstrual syndrome and other menstrual cycle issues.

Reduced PMS pain
It greatly normalises sleep when I take two capsules consistently. My migraines have improved; I take my usual medication plus magnesium, and the migraine subsides in a couple of hours. The frequency of migraines has lessened. When I take magnesium regularly, both PMS and menstruation become manageable, with less irritability and pain on the first day. Chronic throat pain has also improved, and though I consume other supplements, I believe magnesium plays a substantial role.
